Peace Project VII: The Worth of Water

“The Peace Project, a social-justice themed concert. On October 8th, 2023, we kick off a two-year cycle examining Environmental Justice. This year the theme is “The Worth of Water.”

All of the music for the concert will refer to water in its libretto. For example, the repertoire will include Samuel Barber’s “To Be Sung on the Water,” “The Prow” by local composer Matthew Lyon Hazzard, and the traditional folk tune, “Oh Shenandoah; The Wide Missouri,” among others. The Peace Project is distinguished by being a narrated concert. The narrator for Peace Project 7 “The Worth of Water” will be California State Assembly Member Josh Lowenthal.”

Connor sings as a staff member of the bass section.
